Somewhere in the quiet little nook of this city

So, this is currently on repeat on le iPod. (Yeah, in case you didn't know already, I'm freaking obsessed with the Kerrigan/Lowdermilk Tales from the Bad Years songbook. Fangirlin' it out!)

Speaking of Kerrigan/Lowdermilk, their song "Say the Word" was sung by Miss New York, Leigh-Taylor Smith (who got third runner-up) of Miss America! Check it out:

Ha. Well, not the best vocals, out there, but still...pretty awesome that she's reppin' musical theatre.

Other items of interest: the Original London Production of Spring Awakening officially opened January 23rd at the Lyric Hammersmith, and will run until the 14th of March. For more information about the production, go here.
I am absolutely in love with the British cast (ahem, Jamie Blackley, anyone?) -- if you need any proof of just how gorgeous and talented these kids are , visit their Facebook page here.

That's pretty much it, for now. More to come soon, I promise!
