JESSICA TAGHAP 
is a freelance writer, editor 
& content creator based in Queens, New York.

She has been writing about theatre as The Resident Artist since its inception in 2006.  In addition to criticism, Jessica also writes poetry and short fiction on her other blog starts and stops and has contributed to websites such as Off Off Online, New Musical Theatre's Green Room blog, Esha Ray's Casually Political blog, and Babbling of the Irrational.  Jessica is a proud member of the Asian-American Journalists Association.  

Currently, she serves as social media manager for both Atlantic Television and Astoria Performing Arts Center.  She loves: reading the missed connections page on Craigslist, subway maps (and the sandwiches, too), bars that play really bad live music, street fashion, hippies (especially the kind that sing about hair), Audrey Hepburn, Darren Criss' eyebrows, Chaos Theory, the Oxford Comma, and referring to herself in the third person.
